S.T.A.R
SITUATION:I need to give the interviewer context and background for the example I am planning to give them swell as the details on where I was and what equipment I used.

I am I currently studying in Norfolk at the college of west anglia doing an extended diploma in  level3 creative media and there I have worked with a great team of staff and an amazing studio.

While at the college I worked with spring board TV and in house tv company helping to edit and film projects commissioned by the county or the collage, one of the projects was a live streamed and recorded the Christmas concert by the music department where we used 6 black widow cameras that all link to a single stream box.

TASK: What was my role in the situation
I was one of the camera operators on this production but I was positioned on a dolly that panned as it moved left right while the bands performed. we first streamed the performance by linking the cameras to the the directors box that helps change the shots during the performance.

ACTION: highlight the response
before the performance started I had to help set up the black widow tablet cameras and sync them to the vision mixer that the director is sat at to help regulate the going through to the stream.
I controlled one. of the black widow cameras that was placed onto a dolly placed at the edge of the stage capturing the lead signer swell as the whole band during each performance and was told to change position what I contributed was the idea of a jam sync to help the performance down the line. The post production line. before the performance started I had to help set up the black widow tablet cameras and sync them to the vision mixer that the director is sat at to help regulate the going through to the stream.  The way we communicated with the director was through headsets connected to each camera as she could see all of our shots live and told us to adjust if needed.

RESULT: what did I learn?  next time what will I do
the outcome of this performance was the creation of a smooth and enjoyable live stream and dvd. What I learnt was to work with the both the sound and lighting guy as by working with the lighting department I could work with what settings the camera had to work with so I don't have to adjust half way into the performance and doesn't halt the performance.

MY INTERVIEW PRACTICE

Day To Day Tasks:
Their day usually starts out with helping to prepare kit and equipment for the camera man and to help out with the camera lenses and test shoots, they will also help mark actors positions during rehearsals and keep record such as camera logs and other paperwork ready for the edit.

Career Interview (STAR)
Think about work experience or your job
What is your greatest strength?
S-i was editing my multi camera project using a multi camera editing setup on premier pro and my edit didn't sync both sound and video 2 days before the hand in deadline
T-What I did o resolve the situation was to go into the backup of the edit and see what I might have left muted or hidden in the 3 timelines I created for the project.
A-what I ended up finding in my synced clip storage timeline was that one of my clips from the original podcast copied itself over the clip that was missing and in turn switched the audio for the clip and all I had to do was find the original footage from the shoot in one of the SD cards and re-sync the footage again to fix my original timeline.
R- after re-syncing the footage I was able to sort out the audio issues on my original timeline and finish the edit with an hour to the deadline

What Is your greatest weakness?
S-While studying at the college of west anglia during my the start of the 1st year I realised that I wasn't a fast learner even though I was eager to learn the new software and technology.
T-the way I found this out was when during the first project when I was tasked to create an advert and I chose to make it on a speaker but it definitely wasn't my proudest project as it was me starting out and the main problem I had is that I didn't know the equipment that well and I just kept on running into problems.
A-what I did to help solve these problems is by just playing around with the equipment  and seeing what I can and can't do and just by playing with the equipment I slowly learnt the technology because I need time to use this type of equipment.
R-what resulted from all this was probably the worst project I've made but I learnt the equipment so I could create better productions.

What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?
S-My previous boss at The Thornham Deli would say that I am Hard working, reliable and respectful because of the many busy days at the deli such as Boxing Day 2017 where we didi 600+ covers and through the day parts of the kitchen started to fall from the combination of low stock or not much food has been prepared swell as the influx of costumers and potash falling over stress and overcrowding.
T-I was one of the pot washers that day swell it was my day off but I was called in the last minute because I was reliable enough to do a good job to get through the day and I kept potash sable but the problem that kept on occurring is that we ran out of prepared.
A-What ended up happening was that I  came out of pot wash to prep as much food as possible so the kitchen could stay afloat among the influx of costumers coming into the restaurant
R-from my boss relying on me I worked hard and was able to keep the kitchen stable and supplied to get through the lunch rush.

THE PROS AND CONS WITH SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE WORKPLACE

Social media in the work place is a complicated subject as I love the idea of the use of a company social media for easy communication in the workplace but the pros that come with quick communication the cons of it being hacked and exploited for the hackers use of getting our personal information and potentially ruining our lives and that also goes hand in hand with he use of phones in the workplace I think its great it shows your boss trusts you to get on with you work and handle your personal problems and that if someone misuses that trust and doesn't get on with their and then that effects the entire production process it really says something about the person missing that privilege.

overall I think its great when you have an emergency and you are allowed to leave in that emergency and manage your personal life and work at the same time but just don't take the piss when you have been given this trust.
